Need long-distance relationship advice - male insight welcome!?

So here is the deal, my boyfriend and I have always been together. Our relationship was not long distance until about a week ago. Everything was awesome basically perfect.





Now he is going to his college, which is in another state. He is about 300+ miles away. Living in a dorm.





When he was leaving to go, i was upset. I cried when he was gone, and I miss him. Before he left we were talking about missing each other when he left (typical) and he said he expected to cry at some point within the first few days. I have cried a little, or teared up, every day.





however, he has not shed one tear.





Basically, i want to know if i should be worried. He has cried, or teared up, with me before when we fought. He is amazing, and very in touch with his feelings. Its great. But it worries me that he has not even teared up. I am begining to think that maybe i am more into this relationship than he is. He says he missed me...





I don't want to go through a lot of unnecessary pain.

He's a guy. He probably knows how much it hurts you and either is too busy too be able to dwell on his pain, or does cry and doesn't tell you. If need be I can hold back my tears until no one is around to see them, he might be doing the same thinking that if you know it hurts him; it might make you even more upset.Need long-distance relationship advice - male insight welcome!?
