I am from Macedonia and I have been in a relationship for 2.5 years with a boy from my town. However, in September I'll be going to the US to college for 4 years. It is really hard for us both, and we really want to stay together, no matter what. But the visits will be rare, and Internet and skype our only method of communication.
What should I expect? Will it work? How can I make it work? Any advice?

Four years of college will, as it should, change you into a completely different woman. Unless he attends college also each of you will be on a different path in life.
