Can anyone give me advice on long distance relationships and how to make them work?

me and my boyfriend have had a pretty good relationship so far, even though we live 2 states away we always find the time to talk to eachother every night and i know he's not cheating on me, nor am i, but just all of a sudden he stopped talking to me. I dont know if its his way of ';breaking up'; or if he's just busy.. which i get. I havent talked to him in about a week and a half and i need some advice on how to approach this situation because i really love him, and i dont wanna just break up.Can anyone give me advice on long distance relationships and how to make them work?
It can work. I am currently involved with a Marine. We have been talking about marriage and we are separated by distance. He deploys soon as well which means very little communication but we are stronger than ever.

I have a lot of advice. A long distance relationship can only work if both of you are willing to put in equal effort. Distance is only as great as you make it, time is a concept that you make important. If you want to be with someone, make it happen. People say that long distance relationships hardly ever work out, that's a myth. I have had a few, I will admit that, however I am currently in love with the man I am going through this hard time with. People over complicate relationships.

Long distance relationships make you appreciate the time you actually have with them. Ignore the people who try to bring you down and find ones that will uplift your hopes.

Here is a website of a long distance community and there is a lot of good information on it and in the forums.
