I met someone who would like to be friends and is open for long distancing date. We both realize if this leads any where one of us may have to relocate. We is fine. We both are grown adults. But, i would like good advice to help with dating long distance.Does anyone have experience and good advice on long distance relationships?
The first poster was right: communication IS the key!! Also, things that really help is to keep each other posted as to what you are doing and never give them a reason to worry. Always ask yourself if you would be ok with your long-distance love doing what you are doing, and you can't go wrong.Does anyone have experience and good advice on long distance relationships?
COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY! And its always nice to get suprizes in the mail.
If you enjoy corresponding via post, email and the occasional phone call, sure.. go for it.
What's wrong with the local fare? Long distance relationships don't work.. Hell, it's hard just to keep a 30 mile relationship in check. Imagine hundreds or thousands of miles?
Make them a penpal and don't waste your time.
It's really hard having one because of the fact that you cant do things together, and it is never the same talking to someone in person as it is by phone,by phone you can't tell if he/she is being honest about everything he/she is telling you, what happens if you or him gets a chance to go out with someone at home, how will you really know what's going on.
I can't tell you is not possible(because, anything is possible if you really want it.)but i will tell you that's its twice as hard.
Good luck and take care.
